Why Can't The US President call it Terrorism

I am sure all of you, no matter where you are from, have heard of the massacre at Ft. Hood, Texas, USA, where Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, killed 14 people, (I am counting the unborn baby that one of the murdered woman was carrying).

The man was a fundametaist Muslim, and shouted, "Allahu Akbar", (Allah is the greatest) as he shot them.

Business cards found in his apartment after the shooting rampage, had NO mention of him being in the Army, but did have,
"SOA", ("soldier of Allah") on them.

He had been in contact with an extreme Muslim Cleric in Yeman, who supported terrorism, and had sent money to Jordan.

But for some reason, which I will speculate later, Obama and his administration will not call it terrorism. They want it treated as a run of the mill murder. Homeland Sec. Napolitano said the primary focus is the prosecute Maj. Hasan. WHAT?? Duh,.. of course he will be prosecuted.

But the main focus should be, whether he acted alone, or whether he could be involved with others who might do what he did.

I believe that the reason Obama does not want to call it terrorism, is because if it is terrorism then it would be the first act of terrorism on US soil since 9/11, and it happened on Obamas watch, and he can not take that. And it is the same reason that the media won't call it for what it is, because they want to protect him.
